Yet again, a very beautiful visit with TJ is gone. Last Tuesday TJ arrived at Indianapolis International Airport about 2 hours late due to the weather. If anyone remembers the weather in Indiana last Tuesday, you would remember that huge thunderstorm that we received. TJ was flown to Chicago Airport after not having enough gas to fly around and circle Indy anymore. About an hour later he was in the air flying down to Indy to finally be with me. I didn’t take long for him to get off the plane and down through the exit to see me. We went and picked up his bag then went to Hard Rock CafĂ© to have a later lunch than expected. After lunch, we walked around the mall for a little while to then head on home later that evening. Wednesday we didn’t do much except to head out to my grandmothers place where TJ and grandma got to see each other again. Besides being at grandma’s place, we stayed home and just relaxed to enjoy each other’s company. One of the big days that I was waiting for for quite some time was Thursday. We packed a couple shirts and toiletries, headed to Uncle Smiley’s Restaurant for brunch to then hop on the road to Kings Island. Kings Island was something very memorable with TJ. I’ve never watched fireworks before with a lover. TJ was the first person (love) I have watched fireworks with. Those of you who don’t know, Kings Island has fireworks almost every night as the park is closing. It’s nothing like Disney World but it’s something happy to end your night on.This past trip that TJ made here was one that was full of a lot of first memories for us. Some of those memories being of how he first met my mother, the first time we went to Kings Island together and even our first hotel room together with our money. After visiting Kings Island Thursday, we just decided that Friday was going to be another loafing day around the house and Crawfordsville. I had already planned on taking to TJ to the Vanity Theatre in downtown Crawfordsville to see “The Wedding Singer.” So, that’s what we did Friday evening. Saturday was relaxing. We went to Indy for the day to walk around the mall and hangout then to head over to Lucas Oil Stadium to watch DCI World Championship Finals! TJ has never been to a DCI show. I’ve always shown him on YouTube and other places different corps’s shows but for him to see it in real life was a treat for both of us. After that nights fun, we woke up Sunday to a church service at First Christian Church in Crawfordsville. There is a program that I used to be involved with called LOGOS. LOGOS takes you ever summer for a week out to Estes Park, Colorado on a retreat in the mountains. It’s one of the most astounding and breathe taking weeks. TJ and I attending Sundays service because the high school students that went this past summer lead the service instead of the elders of the church. I wanted to show TJ what I was also involved with. More relaxing came throughout the day. Monday was another relax day up in Lafayette as well as Tuesday in Indy. Tuesday was also a very depressing day. TJ had to fly back to Maryland. The one thing that hurts the most in a relationship is when your partner is at a point of no return and yet you can still see them. There is a glass window at the exit of the Terminal that we see each other off through. It’s so hard when TJ comes up to the glass and I walk up to the glass to try to touch each other’s fingers together except there is a thin glass wall separating us. Its always hard. But soon, if you caught on from the last blog post, we won’t have to keep this up for too much longer. But, we have to do what we have to do.
I have watched “Confessions of a Shopaholic” about three times now and I just cant get over the line “You want your scarf, I want my hotdog. Cost and worth are very different things.” This is said more towards the beginning of the movie and I love it. That’s it. I just wanted to let that out there. What do you think about “confessions of a Shopaholic” if you have seen it? I think I will rap this one up. Sorry for it being so long but it has been quite some time since I updated anything. Most schools have started, so for those people who are in school, have a wonderful school year and for us who haven’t started yet, good luck! Oh, and sorry for all the grammar and punctuation errors.
