Written on the plane! [Last day]

7:00 P.M.
Annoyingly, I’m sitting on a Southwest airplane and have been waiting for the past 2 hours to take off for Indiana. There was a really bad storm that hit just as we pulled out of the gate. As for the trip over here for the past three weeks, it was has been amazing. TJ told me that he would make this summer the best summer I have ever had and he did make it just that. I went to TJ’s Prom, Graduation, Band Banquet and Senior Week while here on this visit. We also visited his new home campus [Towson University] for a day. It’s hard to leave Maryland but eventually I have to. I’m leaving now but will be back next Thursday for about 6 to 7 more days because of Baltimore Gay Pride. This summer has definitely been enjoyable and very relaxing. Get this, my plane was supposed to lift off at 4:25 and as I am writing this at 7:00. We have been stopped in the same spot while on the plane for quite awhile and I’m getting quite tired. It’s all ok though. Hakuna Matata. One cool thing that happened that I’ve never experienced though is that one of the flight attendants got on the intercom and asked all of us if we want to play a game and of course, all of us agreed to because if not, we’d die on this plane. We started to play the scavenger hunt game. She called out an item and whoever could hit the call button faster won some weird prize. Well, for the most part, I didn’t have any of the items that she was calling up and I didn’t end up winning anything. If I just so happened to have a: Beer bottle opener on my key chair, hair brush, toothbrush, picture of my dog with me holding the dog, fingernail clippers, and even a 2 dollar bill. The things were sort of random to be asking from a passengers stand point but that also weeded everyone out. It was funny to watch people though. Oh and she also called up a penny from 1950. I didn’t even know anyone still had those. I don’t remember seeing a penny from before 1980. And now I’m starving. I kind of wish they served steaks on here. That’d be heaven! Luckily, I’ve had TJ to keep me occupied by texting me and just keeping me relaxed. But other than the delay, today was also very fun. TJ took me to the inner harbor, we got lunch and walked around everywhere. As we were walking around everywhere, we found some absolutely beautiful villas along the harbor. I mean, these villas are practically brand new looking and gorgeous.

9:00 P.M.
Well hello again. Two hours later my adventure continues. After sitting on the tarmac for over 2 ½ hours, our pilot decided that it was going to be a great decision to pull into the terminal and let everyone get off at the gate and grab some food and use the restroom. We pull in and everyone gets off but it almost seems as though the instant that I got off the plane, I was asked to get back on it. I went to get some food because I was getting quite hungry, so I venture over to Panda Express where I meet a lot of other people who’s plane has been delayed or who has been waiting on the tarmac just as long or longer than I have. One older lady waiting to have Asian food (which was shocking to me) had been sitting in her seat on the plane waiting to take off for 4 full hours. That was kind of astounding to me and a little ridiculous. I get $8 worth of food, meat, veggies, rices and a drink to go along with it and the instant that I sit down to eat it they are calling us back on board. I tried my hardest to snarf that meal down but it didn’t get into my tummy quick enough. They told us all who was trying to eat to get on the plane so that we could leave. That was very upsetting. But oh well. Again, Hakuna Matata! Well, I’m now actually up in the air enjoying everything. I’m glad that we lifted off when we did though because the sunset is b-e-a-utiful tonight. What a day. Well, I apologize to my mother and step father who have been waiting at the Indianapolis Airport for me since 5:30 but there honestly wasn’t anything I could do about this one mum! I’m sorry for this blog being really long but what else would I have been able to do this whole time to keep myself entertained? I’m gonna go ahead and wrap this up. I hope you enjoyed hearing about my lovely night and hope your summer is going well!

Day 15

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer or vacation time. If you aren’t on vacation or break or anything fun of the sort, I hope you’re enjoying the time you have to yourself outside of work. Well, I’ll go ahead and update everyone on everything that has been going on recently. First, from yesterday, TJ and I stayed home just about all day and chilled and just relaxed the whole time. The main reason why we stayed home was to wait for the UPS man to come by and drop off TJ’s SIMs 3 game for his Mac. Well… he came by but he didn’t actually come by. He ummm… stopped and looked at the package without even getting out of truck. After watching the dilemma unfold, TJ just about collapsed. After trying to figure out what to do, we finally decided to hop into the car and actually chase down the UPS truck and get the package. After following the UPS truck for a couple blocks we finally saw where he stopped; TJ got out of the car and went up to the man and asked if he has the package. Of course he’s got it on the truck. So, then, TJ comes running back to the car holding the package up in the air like it’s the best present he has ever received in his life. We made our way back to the bay house then I watched him burst into the house and rip open the packaging and put it into his computer to have a wide open mouth in awe of the game! After watching TJ play the game for hours, we decided to head to the beach for just a small walk on the beach.

I have uploaded these two videos. The first video is the view of TJ and I walking along the beach last night. The other video is of the back yard along the docks in our bay house here in Ocean City. Hope you enjoy. I’ll continue to blog every now and then but go ahead and keep yourself up to date if you please.

Enjoy your night. Another day, Another Smile. =)

Day 13

Another day in Ocean City. Everyone here has been getting along and having a blast. It’s always nice at night to roll into bed with the person you love, look outside to see the reflection of the stars and the moon. I also feel very lucky to be able to wake up in the morning to the boats passing by, the water sloshing around from the boats, and the children laughing and giggling getting ready to head to the beach. People really don’t fully understand their surroundings until they actually sit down and listen to them. Its one things to sit down and look at your surroundings but to listen to them is something completely different. For some reason, all of a sudden, I’m craving a hot pocket. Anyway… Today is TJ and I’s 17 months together! Yay! We woke up this morning and got all showered up and went with the rest of our friends up to Rehobeth, Delaware. It has been quite chilly all day but it has always been heaven while here. We plan to maybe head out in a little bit to go putt putt along the beach. This has been one heck of a break. One of the best summers of my life so far. Enjoy your summer!

Day 12

It’s been a little bit since I updated you on things so here we go.

My illness is getting so much better. We also have finally made it to Senior Week down in Ocean City, Maryland. TJ has graduated and is getting ready to head off to Towson University and my new family and friends over here have been amazing. This place is heaven at night. When TJ and I arrived yesterday at the beach house, it was so nice. To be away from the hustle of families, spastic people and jobs definitely took the stress off our shoulders. This place is gorgeous. I have only been to the Atlantic Ocean one time and that was in 2004 when I went to Disney World in Florida with my high school band. The salt water was … ummm… different! Now that I have gotten used to it a little more, it’s kind of growing on me. We went to the beach last night; we also went around noon-ish today for about 3 hours and just played. The cool part is, I was lying with one side of my face towards the sun and the other away from it therefore, now I am a little two faced! The right side of my face is all red and roasted and the other side is very pasty pale. But yeah, this trip has been a blast so far and hopefully will continue to be!

Hope your summer is going great and enjoy the sun!
